Top 10 tips when choosing a wedding car
1 Recommendation is normally one of the best ways to make sure you hire a good wedding car. Ask friends and family about thier experience on the wedding day
2 If you are unsure about the car always ask to see prior to booking, most car owners are very proud of thier vehicles and are only to happy to show of thier wedding car
3 Ask the company what would happen if say the chaffuer was ill on the wedding day or the car fails and breaks down, most reputable wedding car service will have some backup plan for this type of event
4 Some wedding car companies may make more than one trip to the church, this is only realy practicle when the church is fairly local, this may save a few shillings on the wedding budget
5 Many small wedding car companys will have a restricted wedding car insurance, this will cover you to and from the church, but will not normally cover say a trip to the airport, this is worth checking if you are using the wedding car as a taxi service as well.
6 Most wedding day cars will only book the car out for one wedding per day, again you should check how long you will have the car for, as you never know what can cause delays especially with todays traffic
7 Make sure you get a confirmation of the date time and place of pick up and drop offs so as you are 100% sure the owner knows excatly what they are supposed to be doing
8 Try and relax and remenber your time in the vehicle, you will have so much going through your mind it can be difficult to take things in.
9 The size of the wedding car can be quite important. Make sure thier is enough room to get yourself and your dress (wedding day dresses can be quite a size) in and out of the car comfortably and not ruining the dress.
10. Choosing a car for the time of year. Bear in mind when ordering the car the type of weather, it can be freezing in an old vintage vehicle without heating, or it may take a considerable time to erect the hood (if it has one ) in the event of a sudden downpoor.
